No but they have been dyed black. It looks very good actually. I'll be keeping the aircon with a full black interior.

Thanks mate. Yeah I liked it red when I saw it at National Day years ago. For me now it's all about the imperial blue.

Renewed the insurance - big thanks to Need 2 Insure once again. Now it's just a case of waiting to see when, or if, it can actually get used this year.

Still the recent down time has proved useful for spending some time working on making lists of jobs to get sorted (on both the FRS & 205) when things get moving again (although i think a haircut will come first ).

Bought a remanufactured turbo heatshield bracket - looks like a very quality bit of work and saves having to try & track down an original Ford one that may, or may not, have already been cracked & repaired.

User on eBay was 4340stuart, if anyone was looking for one. Although i think the listing has since ended / all sold, thought it was worth noting on here as more would probably be listed at a later point i'd guess..

We will soon have a full set of the heatsheild brackets available for our club members and as a Group Buy offer. All made to match the originals and complete with nuts. This will also include the top nuts that were never available from Ford and difficult to find second hand..

I hate it actually mate. The way I look at it is I've got a year before any show season. This year is a write off

Certainly doesn't look like we will make any shows this year and cant see the NEC Classic Show being ready for it if they are given the thumbs up late on?
