I've been speaking to an owner who has just bought a mk1 in Italy and he never got an rs supplement guide with his car but has bought an English supplement guide which is different to the German supplement guide he has also seen due to the UK cars having the extra bit about the GT alarm whereas the German one doesn't. After speaking to Bart his friends Dutch registered car hasn't got one and the Italian owner not being able to find any trace of an Italian one so didn't know if there was any other versions other than the English and German versions.

My guess on this would be as the United Kingdom and Germany were the countries that were allocated the most cars out of the 4501 made, these were the only languages the books were produced in as most of the other countries would understand either English or German.
But as I say this is just a guess so may be wrong, and will be interesting to hear otherwise!

Marathonman72 that's what Bart said as well but he wasn't too sure if that was correct but it does make sense though it would be interesting to hear if that is correct.

As far as I know, LHD cars don't have the additional GT alarm.
I share Geraint's thought regarding the book translation in German and English.
As I already told you today, I don't see Ford offering a translated RS booklet for a country that only got a very small amount of cars.
Having this said, both UK and German booklets have a print on the front cover saying that this RS booklet must be handed over to the new owner. So you would expect every new owner should get this supplement, whatever the country it is that sold the car (Greece, Spain France etc etc).
Interesting thread and hopefully we get some answers from foreign owners.
