Fitted a new wiper stalk yesterday wiht the adjustable speed lol

Got a few bits to go on this weekend though - new relay for the wiper as one push down and it doesnt complete the wipe, just stops when you let go. and then new seal and pollen filter as when i washed it the other day i noticed it has a damp passenger footwell

I put the front and rear bumpers, arch liners, undertray etc back on after removing to clean and protect!

What did you use to protect out of interest ?

Are the bumpers much work to get off ?

Sorry for the questions, but fancy doing this to mine

I used ACF 50 on all the nuts and bolts and BILT HAMBER dynax UC to spray inside the wings under the arches and in all the seams!

The rear bumper is easy enough to remove,

Remove the 2 screws underneath the bumper

Remove the 4 screws on the top of the bumper ( you need to open the boot to access these)

Remove the clips from the rear of the archliners and there is a 10 mm bolt that fixes the bumper to the body of the car ( one each side)

The bumper is then free to lift off.

Are these products just a spray and leave on?
Or is it spray and wipe, im not familar with these.
                        Cheers.

Yes mate, the dynax UC is a clear spray that seals and protects, just spray it on and leave!
I do the same with AFC 50, great for all the nuts and bolts and front rear subframes etc!
                          Both fantastic!

Spent the last week or so slowly building up the layers of Gorilla glue to fix / re-attach the broken mounting point on the passenger side of my front grille. Finally added enough to the point that it's nicely held in place so refitted it back onto the car this afternoon. Thankfully i've managed to get it 99% correct as to where it used to be as otherwise that would have been annoying.

Also refitted the slam panel plastic panel but used some new screw clips in place of the old / original ones. Makes a big difference as the plastic panel is actually held tightly in place now rather than slipping around as the old screw fixings had obviously got brittle with age & heat from the engine bay.

Currently having a look at, for 2020, redesigning the current positioning / routing for my existing front mount intercooler pipework to make it a bit more direct / shorter, so generally re-angling the pipework which leaves the inlet manifold dropping at least 2 different bends before it reaches the passenger side arch area and links back to the intercooler itself. As part of that i'm also considering whether to drop the car back onto a GT25 hybrid, in place of the current GT28 turbo setup, and spin the turbo housing, etc.

Still waiting on the Red5 carbon header tank cover. Seems to have spent the best part of the last 3 weeks, after being posted, sitting in postal processing & customs in Turkey. Current tracking says it doesn't even appear to have reached the UK yet. Bit annoying as originally i'd been given the impression it was being posted from within the EU and would only be 2 weeks - so at the moment (if it does arrive) i'm expecting to be hit with customs & import charges - which i won't be happy about. Either way, it had better be worth it (and not damaged) when it arrives.

On the way back from FordFair I noticed an odd feeling when braking. After a quick check i found a torn disc, luckily I 'only' had a 4 hour trip left to return home LOL.
Anyway, I got home all safe and sound (I tried not to use the brakes haha).
Time to swap the brake set-up which I bought off a fellow club-member, thanksNemo
