Mounting Sapphire 4x4 vents?

Hi!

I'm planning to mount Sapphire 4x4 vents on a Focus bonnet and would be grateful of some help/input...

- Any available pics of mounting? Is a kit like this (https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/324598413...mis&media=COPY) or how have you solved it?
- Has anyone repaired the attachment points of the vent? If yes, how? One of my vents has a missing thread...
- Does anyone have measurements available of "nice" placing of the vents?

I have these vents on my car. I bought the bonnet part finished as can be seen in my progress thread on this site. Fortunately the underside has been done well on mine but they can be quite poorly finished underneath. I guess ideally you would cut the vent and mount from the original bonnet and use that but that kit appears to be the next best thing.
Is the thread damaged in your vent or completely missing? Its just a little brass m4 insert so you could replace it by bonding a new one into it.

I will check your thread! One of the inserts is missing on my loose vents, so I just need to find any supplier of new ones.

Maybe I need to try to source an old damaged hood instead of £200GBP plus tax and custom for the vent appetures...
