Fuel filter bracket

Hi all. Is the fuel filter bracket supposed to be black or grey from the factory? Is the part number 1212745? Any pics from the standard or concourse boys of underside where filter bracket is located would be excellent if possible. The reason I ask is I have seen a few of these brackets for sale as new genuine Ford, some are light grey and others are black. Mind you that is going with the assumption that the part number I have quoted above is correct? If anyone can confirm this then that would be a great help.

From the head I’d say the bracket is black.

Hmmm, it's a sticky one really. I'm sure the concourse boys will be along with a take on it soon. The part number is correct so I have since found out.

I'm 99% sure the original fuel filter bracket was the silver colour. My car is still in the Carcoon at the moment but when the weather gets better I will take a look.

When I had seen these advertised on Ebay years ago the colour was silver but can see some are selling them black now.

Great Clayton thank you. Yes some selling silvery grey now others are black. I thought silvery Grey to Clayton but not totally sure.
