  • Battery dead...alarm going mad

Hi all. I had my trickle charger off the car for 2 weeks as needed it for the Mrs car. Anyway I gone to put the charger back on it today, it's dead, no c/locking and no interior light so I know it's not good.
Do I need a new battery or is it a case of charging it up? Can't charge it on the car as alarm was going mad. Called the breakdown but they wouldn't come out as car is on sorn.
If I need a good quality new battery will it be the Bosch S5 as I am still running the charge cooler set up so I need a replacement battery to sit on the original battery tray and the Ford cover to fit straight over the top as per standard spec.
Finally will the key have to be re coded and if so how do I go about this?
    I hope you can helps.

    Thanks.

A trickle charger won’t help with a flat battery is what I’ve been told. You need a decent charger.

No need to re-code the key 👍🏼

Cheers Bart, my battery that is on the car now is an 075...550amp and 60 A/H. Platinum battery ...whatever that is. The alarm siren is from the rear, so must be the non Ford alarm, even though it's not programmed, battery back up must have kicked in. It soon stopped so all quiet now after about 45 mins of torture.
Is 075 the correct size battery? I need to order a new one.
