I bet it can paddle as only a light car and I bet it's loads of fun to drive at that power.
You did away with the charge cooler then I take it?

    Thanks. Lee.

To be fair it drives brilliantly. Very linier and the boost is similar across the range which I like.

I was on a dreamscience map before and it was a very old school power delivery. Nothing then a massive wack!

Yeah I did away with the change cooler. I run a spec r intercooler. Less to go wrong with a intercooler vs a charge cooler and more room in the engine bay. I've also moved my battery to under the passanger seat for the same reason.

Sounds good, probably best for me to replace the charge cooler for intercooler. Is is a straight forward proccess to remove the charge cooler? Will any of the pipework require changing?. I'm presuming the intercooler will reduce engine temps more than the chargecooler at 300 bhp and over.
      Thanks.Lee.

I’m running 400bhp with chargecooler (uprated radiator), mostly on track and never had an issue.

That is also good to hear Bart. I got a spare radiator with my car but I have no idea if it has an uprated charge cooler radiator or not.

        Thanks. Lee.

Hi Sean. What sort of cost is this turbo please or where can I look for an idea on price? Does this fit the tubular manifold and does it need any mods to the pipework?

          Thanks. Lee.

Again Sean, will this fit the Focus tubular manifold and will the pipework require revising? Againj, where is best to look for prices on this particular turbo?
            Thanks. Lee.

You can buy a VBand manifold from Peron. My setup just cost me over £3k

3k for turbo and Manifold, hefty costs then. No doubt it will be the same with the Borg Warner turbo will probably will have to buy a manifold for that turbo too.

                Thanks. Lee.

I managed to pick mine up second hand. That was turbo, manifold, Tial wastegate, downpipe, oil and water lines and intake pipe and filter.

Hybrid is the best way to go to keep costs down

Something like the 400xr by Sabre then you mean is it and will fit the usual tubular manifold etc.

                    Thanks. Lee.

Exactly that. Or the 420r I have for sale 😉

You have given me food for thought Sean with regards to your turbo.

                        Thanks. Lee.
