RS Focus WRC project

Hi members this is my first post I am all new to this. I have just bought a Focus WRC shell that was supplied by ford Motorsport for the Playstation era in 2003 its fully kitted out with all the decals cage bucket seats etc. The car was used as a showpiece at different events around the country including the NEC in Birmingham. It was then sold to a man in Belfast who owned a Ford dealership so it was in his showroom for a while then sold onto a private collector who had it for 13 years. I have now purchased it and am hoping to put it on the road for the first time. So to achieve this I would need a left LHD doner RS I don't care about the body as I only need the mechanicals and the ID any info or leads would be much appreciated.

Welcome, that is an interesting backstory, is certainly going to be a labour of love.

I own a similar kind of car, build by M-Sport to promote the ‘new' Ford Focus WRC back in the days.
It's buildnumber 11.

Mine was never registered but it has a VIN, does yours have a VIN?
As I live in a LHD country (The Netherlands), I'm happy to keep an eye out for you to find a useable RS which is of use for you.
You probably don't want to hear this but I've recently sold a LHD accident RS 🙈

I still need a few bits and pieces for the Focus, I need a left hand drive pedal box and servo if anybody has one or knows where I might get one please?
