Speaker upgrades

As above please, looking at swapping out the old speakers front and back for a half decent upgrade nothing too expensive but just nice to have something with a little more sound then the tin sound I get off the standard speakers.

And what size or type of speakers are there and are they easy to plug and play.

Any help would be great thank you

macaneli can I find these on eBay? Easy enough to fit? I guess I would need new clips for the doors as they break when taking off

Std speakers are 5x7 front and rear, you can get aftermarket ones, I have pioneer really nicer upgrade. You can get ones that are bolt in but will have spade connectors you can get wiring adapters if you don't want to cut the oringal connectors off. Only so much improvement you will get from speakers, the main way to improve sound quality would be to replace the std head unit.

RSRick3290 ill have a look and see if I can get the adapters for between stock and new speakers so I won't have to cut them

My sound from the standard original system is terrible. My ST170 was mint sound. Saying this I like to listen to my car rather than the stereo.

You have to put spacers because the speaker (the magnet) is big so it can't fit in the hole
