Coolant smell

Hi guys I'm after some advice 888 is smelling of hot coolant. It's been off the road for 3 years but has been run up to temp a few times in the time it was off the road. I have used it a handful of times since getting back on the road and it just smells hot !

Coolant levels are good and still pink no leaks that I can see and not having to top up the water. Coolant temp sits about 98-114 on the Scangauge and drops when the fan comes in which I remember it doing before. Might just be me even after a normal drive it smells like I been giving it some.

Any ideas or not worry about it ?

If there isn't any visable leaks, level is good and still pink. I don't think you really have anything to worry about the temps you have stated sound about right to me. The fans are kicking in and the car is cooling itself. Fans should kick in at 112c on scangauge from memory.

Might be worth checking interior heater matrix for leaks on the carpet too, just in case.
