Yeah have seen it discussed on Facebook, Chris Harris also put a few photos up of a mk1 a few months back on instagram (guess when they were filming).
The story is that the car was already a CAT car. Not sure on the truth behind that though and when you reg check it, it doesnt exist .

Yeah I did the same and had a nosey at the MOT's but nothing came up, either way tho Cat car or not its a sad sight, especially for any poor sod looking for half decent parts.
