Suspension Springs

Hi all
After some rear standard springs for my car. Under the impression that they are different from standard Focus ones and are NLA from Fords.
Can anyone shed some light on options new or second hand as i don't want to lower the car.

They are definitely different rated from any other standard Focus springs same as the bespoke sachs racing dampers. So if these are NLA at Fords I think your best bet is to try and find a second hand set. Maybe contact ST breaker Leigh Lush, or look out here and on FB groups, quite regularly spares or cars getting broken do turn up.
Only other option will be H&R which imho aren't that bad, as only lowering the car by about 25mm. Other than that it will all be coilover/adjustable sets

I don't know why the thread was moved to parts wanted as I was looking for options for new standard springs. I have rusty standard springs and so I have put H&R springs on it it just feels low at the front. I put new Sachs standard struts on thinking the old ones were a but tired. I may get the rusty springs blasted and powder coated so I can swap.

Had my old spring powder coated come up like new will be your best bet

Hi Jim,
I do have some spare genuine used rear springs (in good condition).
But as I'm currently in the middle of moving to a new workshop, I can't help you right now.
Happy to sort them for you somewhere by the end of this year.

as my springs are very corroded
however you want to do it is fine with me as winter is coming so not in a hurry

Hi,

It would be good to know what the spring rate and spring length are for the standard rear springs. Any ideas? I want to see if I can find an OE specification aftermarket set.
