Building a bare shell back up.

Hi guys

Im building a bare shell back up. i need all of the suspension parts.

What parts are the same as a standard focus?
I know the legs and hubs are different and the wishbones.

What about the rack? Subframe? Rearbeam?

You can use the basic subframes, and even the bottom arms if you dont mind not having the strengthening plate in them.
Rack will fit.
Rear subframe and camber/castor arms, trailing arms are strengthened but again standard will fit. Stub axles are different but if you cant find any you might be able to achieve the correct spacing using axle spacers.

You can make most of the basic suspension components work although they are not the correct parts of course.

Theres not much that is the same, most parts had minor differences. Great from an engineering point of view but not when you want parts 18 years on!
