Whatâ€™s a standard engine worth?

I'm toying with the idea of doing a forged engine build while this covid thing is happening. I'd fund part of it by selling my standard engine. Well known car with plenty of history, standard in every way 57k miles. Any ideas? I'd have thought £1200+???
