Hi all,
Back from my holiday now and just wanted to say how chuffed and proud I was to see our club displayed at the NEC Classic Show this year.
Since our club started nearly five years ago I have applied to have a stand at this show but have been unsuccessful until this year. When we received the acceptance email myself and the admin team were overwhelmed.
I soon realised I had an holiday booked that clashed with the NEC show. I was disappointed to say the least, but there was no way I was going to miss it. I arranged to make it for the set up day (Thursday) and Friday 7th November.
The Friday was the opening day of the show and it was nice to talk to many Focus RS owners who were drawn to visit our club stand.
On Friday evening after a meal and drink with the lads, I headed off to the airport to go on holiday with my wife and friends. The show was left in good hands with the admin team and extra help from club members and friends.
I would like to take the time to thank the following for all your help.
Bart (AKA - BartFRS), Geraint (AKA - Marathonman72), Andy (AKA - Andy Saints RS) and Jon (AKA Nemo) for all the help and support setting the stand up.
The stand wouldn't have been what it was without the cars so a big thanks for the owners who displayed their pride and joys:

Dave (AKA - Dodge) - Highly Modified Focus RS (4468)
Thanks to:
Dave and Jack (AKA - mrsimmers) for heading over for Saturday and Sunday to support our stand.
Dave (AKA - Bam) & Martyn (AKA - MartynH) for collecting my van, heading over on the Sunday to help with dismantling the club stand, loading and retuning my van.
Shane for delivering and collecting Dodge's car - K7 RSO.

A big thank you to all our members and the public who took the time out and visited our stand through the show days.
