  • Rear subframe

Decided to take the plunge and pull out my rear subframe last night after work.
I got it out but i have to say there are some stubborn bolts on this thing.
Just ordered some genuine ford track rear arms, upper and lower adjustable hardrace toe arms, powerflex bushes for everything, rear disks, rear pads, new subframe bolt fitting kit, the list goes on.....
Next up...to the sandblasters with the frame, im fortunate enough to have my own powder coating equipment so that'll save some money.

Not the nicest job removing the bolts is it? They get rusted to the inner sleeve of the bushes mainly i find.

Yes that's the main issue i had.
Removing the subframe isn't the problem, its removing all the bolts that hold the arms on.
Some heat worked on some and the grinder worked on others.

            Its going well.
The only thing left to do now is cut the bolts that hold the track control arms on the subframe, everything else is off.
Does anybody know if the small hard lines are available (they go from one flexi hose to another) or is it a case of make your own?

Its a nice feeling when you look at it all nice and refurbished 😁. They are available although i just made my own as it took about 10 minutes. If you search for st170 ones they are the same.

Exactly, the OE ones are steel if that bothers you but no reason why you cant replicate them.
