    Hi
sorry if this has been asked before in advance

But does anyone have or can link me in to manifold comparison

    Mapping graphs etc

I want to choose wisely and looking at the power and delivery in graphs is always the best way for me

    Thanks everyone
    Mickie

Can't say I've seen such graphs, but if they are out there would be great to see them.

But 'back in the day' the primary designs ones were consitantly very good gains and were considered a very good buy if you could get them as I know they were very expensive. If one comes up for sale now they are still commanding a lot of money. I believe VS welding obtained the jigs for them when PD stopped production and are a good alternative if still available.

Peron, I believe, come highly recommended by most and again talkin with the lads at sabre when I was there they seemed to suggest they were pretty good as well.

I can vouch for the PD system as I'm running a PD manifold back complete system with sports cat and on standard turbo with K&N gen2 made 340bhp and 360lb/ft at sabre on a stage 2 map.

Thats my dyno graph on a Direnza manifold, gt25 turbo. There wont be a lot of difference in the manifold power wise, mainly the quality of the materials/welding etc.

As above, manifold makes little to no difference to power, reliability is what you want, most manifolds tend to crack Peron being far better from my experience than other brands.

          That sounds perfect Joe
headers or manifolds used to make.massive difference as well as down pipe to other turbo cars I've had
it's all about midrange for me

Its live mapped and rolling road mapped buddy by Sabre tuning. The Direnza manifolds are much better quality than they used to be, and if you make sure you retain the original turbo support bracket a stainless manifold is much less likely to crack. Obviously the likes of Peron etc are better quality but bang for buck i truly believe these are great manifolds. With regards to the other mods (basic list) i have a DW65c fuel pump, Siemens deka 630cc injectors, K&N filter in the engine bay, the turbo is standard size but with a billet compressor wheel and better bearings. Sachs organic clutch.

That power is achievable on a standard turbo/injectors etc but i didnt want any component being used at its max capacity.

                    Interesting topic Mickie

I have recently changed the manifold from a collins cast one to a VS welding manifold that I purchased 5 years ago lol (Clayton's group buy in RSOC).

As mentioned about, i believe they have the jig for the primary design manifold.

Even without mapping, the car responds quicker.. noticeably quicker. The car is getting mapped at Sabre in a week or 2 so I'll put the graph up for you to see mid range.

I have Nortech/Peron, being used hard for 4years and no problems.
Seen other manifolds crack but those cars didn't have the bracket. As said before by DanT404; make sure you use the support bracket 🏼
