Steering Column Problem

Thanks, I tried that, but after one point the nut is winded all the way in and doesn't give anymore, if I apply more force I'll deffinetely crack the plastic of the steering column or something.

I was able to pick the shaft up from down below the steering column, but now my steering wheel position is crooked, it goes 45 degrees to the either right or left, has anyone experienced this?
