Focus RS 0451 - RS52 FAB

As most of you know I bought 0451 from a club member Micky Flint at the beginning of the year and wanted to start this post to show whats happened since I bought the car, I had the car delivered in an enclosed trailer from Essex to my home in South Wales.

As soon as the car was delivered it was placed in a Carcoon and stayed there for a few months before I took it for an mot in June.

Booked the car in for its mot at my local Ford garage on the 2nd of June, the car passed as expected with no advisories .The car got quite a bit of attention at the garage with staff from the showroom and service department coming to have a look around the car and they were amazed at the condtion of the underside. This was the first time for me to drive the car.

On the june 10th I took the car to West Wales RS owners club regional day at the Bridgend Ford plant on our club stand.

I then began to look for a company in my area where I could get the car detailed and machine polished and after a bit of research I found a company quite near me and payed them a visit to look at their work, I was impressed with the results that they made on customers cars in their workshop so decided to book 0451 in with them for a bit of loving. The car wasn't really that bad to start to be fair but wanted the car the best I could get it looking. The end results were amazing and the car looked a million dollars when finished, I had it machine polished then finished with Swissvax best of show wax. Also had the engine bay detailed and the inside cleaned while the car was there.

0451 is now back in the carcoon for the winter months and will more than lightly stay there until mot comes around again, im planning on taking the car to at least one show next year with club and that will be Ford fair.
