Waiting for Mass Effect Andromeda to download, so!

These are all centre-centre as best as I can manage

    Red: 735mm
    Orange: 725mm
    Blue: 270mm
    Yellow: 360mm

The brake discs I have to hand aren't standard, but they are 324/28 and 280/10, and meant for the standard setup.

    If you want anything else while the subframe looks like this;

    Just shout!

Thanks, really a great help! Unfortunately no new shiny pics this weekend as I've been quite busy and haven't gotten much done on the model.

I have been working on the physics side, and its coming on very nicely, although I won't know for sure since I've never had the pleasure of driving a FRS! Been chatting the top physics developer for AC regarding the differential and how best to implement it, and he's given some great (but complex) advice on how best to go about it. I have to say pretty complicated the way I've implemented it, but it feels great to drive. I'll never be sure of the accuracy though as Quaife don't publish any data on their ATB diff regarding the torque bias or anything like that, so educated guesses are the best I can do.

Regarding those dimensions Nirach, really good job! I was fairly close on my guesses but it seems the scrub radius is a lot smaller IRL. If you could possibly get a measurement of the distance between the two strut towers under the bonnet (as close as you can get), I should be able to nail down the KPI (king pin inclination) angle and really be sure.

If you still have the subframe and lower arms handy, I wonder if you could also get the distance between the two ball joints? I pretty much was able to decipher at this stuff with the data you gave earlier, but being able to double check would be ideal. Also maybe the distance between the ball joint and each of the subframe bushes (so A to B and A to C on my drawing). Slightly less vital but still useful.

I'll leave you with this short video, the FRS isn't the 'focus' of the video but at least you get a glimpse of it running. It was meant as a quick showcase of the ridiculous V8 Transit I have made (Also don't worry about how bad the interior looks, the FRS will look tons better when I do it!)

Also, bit of a strange request here, but can anyone take a photo of the car at full lock? Ideally head on to the wheel, and one turning left, on right?

Just trying to work out the amount of steering angle and ackerman (typically the inside wheel turns more than the outside, anti-ackerman is the opposite). Something like this would be perfect:

Ok, managed to squeeze in a few details this evening, mainly door handles, reg plates (recnise the number?), windscreen wash jets, side indicators and fixed the base of the A-pillar. I think the roof aerial, wipers and then mechanical stuff (brakes etc) are the only exterior things yet to be modelled, but obviously lots of texturing left (lights etc).

Oh and made the exhaust have a slight wobble with revs :)

Here are some pictures of my brakes,
they aren't the greatest, but hopefully they can provide some details you might need. They are from a few years ago when i sold them.

Brilliant, those will be a great help! The current disc/calipers were just borrowed from the Transit, which is why they look terrible. I'll put a lot more effort into these Brembo's as they are much more visible.

And cheers BartFRS, hope you weren't bouncing it off the limiter just for me!

Another quick question (it never ends, you guys must be fed up of me now :P) - What sort of information is available on the dash? I'm starting to compile a list of what I'll be implementing, and this is what I've collected so far, please correct/add anything:

Digital Clock (is there also one on the standard stereo?)
                Gear Shift Light
                Boost Gauge
                Speedo
                Rev Meter
                Fuel Gauge
Fuel Light (anyone know how many litres this light comes on? A stretch, I know :P)

Trip meter and Mileage meter will just be static, I can't make them dynamic.

Also, is there any sort of light come on when you turn your headlights on? On my Sportka I think it was just a full beam light, which I won't be adding.

Fuel light. I Think it's approx 10-12 litres remaining it.comes on at I read it in the owners manual when I first bought the car

Shift light illuminates yellow with an up arrow in. The lower half of the Rev counter IMG-20170301-WA0021.jpeg
                  actually visible in this picture.

Cheers! One other I forgot, is there an external temperature gauge? And I'm pretty sure I read there is no water temp gauge (since thats where the Turbo boost gauge is).

                          Thanks for that!

I can't help but notice how helpful this community has been, its pretty amazing.

I won't name names but some time ago I tried helping another guy who was doing a similar thing to this (putting a car into AC) and that particular car community wanted nothing to do with it - got no help whatsover! But you guys have been great, I just hope I do the job justice!

Anyway, just made a very quick and dirty mockup of the dash to get all the gauges (and shift-light) working properly using one of Nirach's great photos. Will eventually make a proper texture but this works well for now. How many of you have had your FRS' up to this speed? ;)

Hoping to start blocking out the interior soon-ish, so dimensions will help greatly to keep everything scaled properly. I think maybe the most useful and important will be Steering wheel diameter (outer and inner), and maybe the width of the dash binnacle (so like the far left edge of the clear glass covering the gauges to the right?).

And here's an odd question: Anyone know the VIN number of RS02FMC? I wanted to go with that reg at its 0001 (I think?), and sticking the VIN number in too would be pretty cool.

I have the VIN No for some of Fords other Reg's, some pretty cool plates, will probably use them all for each skin:

                          RS02FLY
                          RS02FOR
                          RS02HOT
                          RS02FFF
                          RS02FFS
                          RS02FAB
                          RS02FUN
                          RS02FSS

Good to hear you're happy with all the help from this community !

My top speed was 252 km/hr on the speedo as I'm living close to Germany, it's allowed on some parts of their highway 😉

Clayton will have the VIN of RS02FMC, #0001

BartFRS, just noticed that you seem to have a front upright/hub attached to your lower arms!? You're gonna hate me, but I don't suppose you could get some more pics of the hub, and possible some dimensions later? Mostly interested in the position of the bit where the tie rod attaches , but some overall pics would be great :D

I just stripped a damaged RS, took the complete front end suspension off the car.
Will get you more pictures tomorrow, no problem!
