Focus RS MK1 - R5 FOK

Hey!

I had this registration on my old RS which was taken from me 6 years ago and on Bank Holiday I have purchased another.

Just signed up to be a member again and hopefully there will be spaces at SilverStone this year, I have been in recent years just without an RS to show for it!

My old RS was built by Amber Performance and had Nitrous installed although I never used it. Instead I just modified the power to about 350-360bhp instead, and did lots of other upgrades too!

Old RS picture uploaded with the bigger OZ wheels, if anyone is selling a set of these, please let me know!

New/Old RS has the Bonnet Vents and USA Rear lights so you can tell the difference (if I have uploaded the pictures in the wrong order!).

Yeah, those 19’s were hard to find circa 10 years ago! I got lucky!

Someone i know bought them for his, he was searching for a long time but in the end Geoff from CSG had a couple of sets he was selling. Not sure if he has any left?

Nice to see the Mk1 has drawn you back and you have certainly found a low ownership cherished example. As said, those OZ Superleggera wheels
were very sought after for the Mk1 Focus RS and difficult to get hold of. I haven't seen any for a very long time now.

As for Ford Fair, no problem joining us and please see the booking thread in the shows section Rich.

Hi Clayton,

I got lucky with buying my first set of the Superlegga wheels. Someone was selling their RS probably 10 or so years ago and the buyer wanted to pay full price for his car but with the standard OZ wheels being out on!

So as they were going spare I think I only paid £800-£1,000 including tyres, think back then most people sold about £1,6-£2k.

You did very well at that price Rich and spot on at £1,6-£2k for a set and sold very quick.
