Just want to introduce myself here - new owner of Car is a LHD originally from The Netherlands and currently on a boat to Canada.

Always wanted a MK1 RS - had brand new ZX3 when they first came out way back, then a SVT for a short while very recently, and now finally an RS, so the journey is complete

A bit nervous about it to be honest ... never meet your heroes and all that ...

There is no need to be nervous. You will absolutely love it when you get behind the wheel and be hooked.

Your car will be the third car located in Canada when it arrives according to the build list database. I do know your car from two previous owners and will update the build list to add you as the new owner Phil. Would it be possible to know the official date of your ownership please. (Day/month/2024)

Yes, mine will be the 3rd (2nd LHD) one in Canada (and most likely the only 3 in North America due to the 25 year rule in the US). The official purchase date was July 29 2024 (it was a Collectincars auction).

And thanks for the reassurance the RS will be as much fun as I hope it will be!

you will love the RS once you really know it and know how to drive it hard and push it, it's what they're made for.

A brilliant drivers car 👍 but please be a bit careful as parts are getting scarce and expensive. 😱
