Rejoined the MK1 club - 2287

Quick hello! I've previously owned two MK1 Focus RS's in the past and now I own 2287 thanks to Claytons help - which is pretty much standard minus some samco hoses.

Immediate plans are just a general tidy up under the bonnet, rear brakes and see what I can do underneath without the support of a 4 poster ramp (ideally would love a DPC full under restro) - but the list of things is getting longer

If there are any body shop recommendations in the midlands, please feel free to fire them across as there are a few bits I want to get done next year.

Look forward to getting to know you all, I've seen some familiar names already which is crazy considering I owned my first one 15 years ago.

Nice to hear of an ex owner come back into Mk1 FRS ownership. They are great cars. DPC did the underside of my car this year, highly recommend them.

Just checked both build numbers...

0318 had a cherished plate added 11 years ago (12th December 2012) Showing as having an MOT on 16 August 2025 at 59,515 miles.

3575 still shows the age-related plate but the last MOT was carried out on 22 April 2016 at 71,140 miles.

Ah thats a shame, a lot have disappeared off the radar in recent years, think with rot appearing etc a lot of people just tuck them away and think "i'll deal with that in the future"

I sold 3575 back in 2016, so likely that owner has just stored it away
