Hi Matt and welcome to the forum with 1236 and a nice low ownership example you have.

How do I get hold of Clayton guys..? Just after gathering as much history as possible, if there is any in the club on the car.

1236 was in connection with the club from a previous member. I did get to know about 1236 before your previous owner as the second owner was putting the feelers out to sell the car, he had owned the car for many years.

Unfortunately with you recently registering on the forum the Private Messaging permission is restricted so you won't be able to message me or see messages I send you. This automatically upgrades your account when 20 posts are reached. If you were to become a full member by subscribing, this would upgrade instantly and allow you full access to the member's area and the shows and events sections.

Thanks for getting back to me with the info 😁

I bought the car from John, he owns a car garage in Leeds. He put me onto you/the forum & said to let you know. Does this ring a bell..?

The car is in such superb condition. It has been very well looked after, credit to previous owners.
Demon performance is 2 mins from my house so took it to them to be inspected.
If anyone could find anything wrong, then Pete will.

All he found was small hose is beginning to perish and a sensor is required (Car drives and looks amazing)
I have another car but this RS gets so much attention. Is this everyone’s experience owning one? It seems all car guys just love “fast fords” that’s why I got one 😂

I have tried to pay for the membership but seems to kick me out..?
