  • Build Number #2903

    Hi all,

Haven't really been active on the forums but I have owned 2903 (registration BP53 BXX) since Feb 2021.

I've seen some discussion about 2903 from previous owners, and particularly about the potential of it being the last built RS. If anyone knows anything about the history of the car, or has any old pictutes of it I would really appreciate seeing them.

    Thanks
    Aimee

    Hello and welcome Aimee !
From what I can see is that there's another car build on the same date as yours.
It's a German (LHD) car, build number 2168, with build date 11-12-2003.

As your car is a later build number, it MIGHT be the case yours being the last car build, however not all cars are known.
And a higher number doesn't have to mean it's build later.

I'm sure Clayton will be able to add more info

P.S. As I own a LHD, I hope (as the first car produced being a RHD) the last car is a LHD car

Hi Aimee and good to see you posting on the forum.

As said this car was found to be one of the last cars off the production line, yours being the last UK built Focus RS and as Bart explained, 2168 being the last Germany supplied Focus RS.

I have checked all other vins and there are no build dates later than 11th December 2003.

As regards history of 2903, I have retained a fair amount since 2010. I Also know other previous owners who have not been in connection with any clubs and have messaged two this evening to ask if they can help.

Please find some history of 2903 below.
