Long time lurker, first time member.
I have car 1202, one previous owner (my dad) who had it from new and I've owned it for the last 16 years, so it's never been out of the family. Managed to keep it all pretty much standard up till now, but getting harder to do so due to no parts.
It's been a daily driver it's whole life (96k) and carries all the scars that come with it so needs some cosmetic work. She's not a mint RS, but she's my RS...
Starting to have issues getting parts and advice, so based on what I have seen on here in the past, I thought it was a great time to join. Just taken another £1000 hit on MOT day....so looking for understanding shoulder's to cry on as well
I work in IT, love my motorsport and my dad races, so I'm normally in and amongst it in some way.
Notable family Ford history .... Capri 2.8i Turbo Technics Conversion, Sierra RS Cosworth, S2 RS Turbo, Mk1 Focus RS, Mk2 Focus RS and Mk3 Focus RS. Then a load of ST's between the waiting for the new RS's. I had an ST170 and then jumped to the Mk1. Quite a bit of blue blood going on.
Anyway, I've waffled and looking forward to being here.
