  • New owner of build number 3487

Just thought I would introduce myself having just purchased build number 3487.

The car has been maintained through DPC for last 10 years which I confirmed through calling in to see Pete, having met for the first time was a fountain of knowledge and an overall genuine guy who took the time talk, even though he had a number cars lined up for work.

Hello and to the club and forum.

Always nice to know a car has been well maintained and looked after. Yes Peter is a top bloke and certainly knows his way around a MK1 Focus RS

Post up a few photos of 3487.

Good to see you managed to find a Mk1 Focus RS after hankering after one for a good time. Good to chat today and thanks for letting me know
your purchase date to add to the history of 3487.

                    Hello and welcome.

If Pete had a hand on it i'm pretty sure it will be a decent maintained example you got there

Does your nickname say something about another car you have?
A S1 RST and an FRS complement very nice 😎😎

I'm pretty pleased with it needs a bit of tlc, as it has been used as a daily but very well maintained, with all documentation to back it up.

I didn't know who Pete was until I joined here he is certainly very well respected.

You are correct I also own an s1 which I've owned for several years with the intention of putting back on the road one day.

Have you also got a s1 going by your nickname?

                            Thank you.

It is quite nice, but nowhere near concourse. Just a good useable one that is being used.
It is showing it's age now, restored it 1999 and rear arches are getting some serious stonechips, as I like to use it what is was intended for 😎
but it just had a small underside spruce up over winter, so the underside is now better than upside also had a freshly built engine and gearbox with Quaife ATB in which works a treat 😎
