Hi everyone,
I've finally decided to join this forum after 14 years of owning a Mk1. I travelled from Rotherham to Reading to buy it, with 8 thousand miles on the clock and it's been my daily driver ever since. It's now 75k. My enthusiasm for this car is still as strong now as it was on the day of purchase. It's been reliable and a joy to own. It's been treated to a full makeover of late and is unmodified and the plan now is to buy something else and just use it sparingly during the summer.
