Glad to be finally apart of the history.Question Clayton cars going back into friends for another check over and to put my private plates on it.Is it worth changing the plastic Bosch recirculation valve for a forge one that's serviceable?

Welcome to the club. You're at the right place .
Regarding the recirculation valve, long term a serviceable one is a good idea but obviously if your car is standard then you may find it a little bit blingy. I run the Forge one on my car along with the actuator for the same reason and have no complaints.

As for the recirc valve. If your standard power and not thinking of modding I wouldn't bother personally. But if you plan to modify and up the power its a well worth purchase.

It's got an exhaust on it and that's it.

The recirculation valve isnt rs specific and its used on many VAG cars, they are pretty cheap so you could buy a couple if you wanted. Forge one is pretty though 😝
