Getting back on the road

Thought I best say Hi

I had signed up to the forum years ago but never been active or set up a subscription till today.

I am the owner of 1892 for the last 11 years. Due to ill health I had put the car into dry storage for the last 4-5 years and have done everything to have to avoid selling.

This year is my aim to get the car back out of storage and back on the road ready for when shows are allowed again. I am looking at getting a full service, health check and a underside restoration (and potentially sills).

Is Demon Pete still the man to see?

Don't think you would go far wrong with taking the car to DPC. Great to hear you are getting it back on the road.

Nice long ownership you have had with 1892 and hope you are in good health now.

As others have said you won't go far wrong with Demon Pete, but if you want to get some work done I advise to get your car booked if you want your underside restored as I believe he had a waiting list for restoration work!

Great to see you here Simon and hear you still own your Focus RS after so many years.

Sorry to hear of you being poorly and good of you for holding onto your pride and joy. As said Demonpete is very much still around and highly regarded in the Mk1 Focus RS world, even more so now with the underside restorations.

Hey, just found some pics of the car before I put into storage. It is pretty much standard apart from some small upgrades KN Gen 2, Miltek exhaust and decat.

The other cars owned by other family members we are all petrolheads!
