Hi all
I have just purchased my first RS now and I love it, based in Oxfordshire so would be good to know of a few specialists near here please? Advice on good companies for spares/parts etc would be good. 1st job, engine service, 2nd job get rid of dump valve so need some advice on how the original recirc valve fitted as I need to buy one from somewhere or someone?
Be good to know of any local meets....

That wouldn't have been me as I haven't been into Swindon for a while, I live about 10 minutes from Swindon, but I've seen a couple in Swindon but not for sometime.

Hi Alan I'm well up the road from you (near Stratford-upon-Avon) I've never seen a specialist around here. Probably best sticking to the reputable names, SCC , DPC etc. Sabre won't be too far from you near Castle Coombe.

loads of knowledgeable people on hee so some answers to Q's
good to get rid of open dump valve as these cars don't like em very much.
The original is located in the pipe that goes from air filter to turbo and has a big pipe that comes from the CC box and a smaller vacuum pipe that comes fom the back of the inlet mani. Think most people using uprated go for a forge recirc, as i have but not sure on type anymore as it's on ffor about 10yrs 😂 Hope this helps

Thank you that's what I thought, I rang forge as I need the pipe that runs from the cc the recirc valve too, but they just have a voicemail saying they are busy and don't leave a message. No rush as I'm going over things with under the bonnet, but it would be good to get it done while the cc is out the way 😉
