Hi all, no Mk1 R.S yet, Seat Cupra 290 currently, but I am actively looking and gathering info to purchase.
A lot of variation by the looks of it from nice low mileage low owner to high mileage requiring work.
Probably be middle ground with some fettling required but the other options are being considered.
The dream is completely original and visit a few shows.

Hello and welcome 👋. Good luck with the search the thing to do is buy on the condition rather than mileage as some of the high mileage ones are in a lot better condition than some low mileage ones.

Brilliant thanks for the warm welcome.
Yes the trick is not to get to hung up on mileage as the condition is more important.
This will be my second 'weekend toy' car so I'm not too fussed with anything tbh as anything will be put right over time.
