Good to hear your car is coming on well Gary.Originally posted by Garymk1rs View PostThanks guys for the welcome, just got car back last week from full paint and underside detail, all new brakes , callipers refurbished, all looking very nice👌, does anybody know if the rear wheel arch clear protector is still available from ford?
The company who supplied the rear arch protection film to FMC was a company called Armourfend. I was told by them many years ago as I had my car fitted with the full kit that they offered FMC two versions, a short film and an extended film. The short version was chosen by Ford. They still do the exact protection on request and offer both versions so ask for the standard if you are wanting the original type.
Part numbers:
FD/1015/10A Rear Wheel Arches (Standard)
FD/1015/10 Rear Wheel Arches (Large)
Can you let me know the prices you are quoted Gary as I know they have increased a fair bit from back in the day.Essex based manufacturers of the Armourfend clear paint protection film for vehicles. Thanks for that info Clayton I'll let you know when I contact Ford when you say large is it just taller in height or is it wider as well I did get new ones when I bought the car but not sure who supplied them, but they go from bottom of arch to top edge of body moulding, I was trying to find a car that shows how they should look but it's not easy to see!
Have a merry Xmas
Cheers Gary

The ones you would have had Gary would be the original standard type if they finished at the top of the body mouldings. The larger type run around the arch face and are extended in height.
Here is a picture of the large arch protection.
