Well I am pleased to announce that today what I have had planned has happened. I have collected a Mk1 Focus RS build number 2329.
Been a long day and feeling tired so will post up more details tomorrow of him (Archie) and his history with some pictures. Wanted to start this thread now as today marks the date of the 15 Year Anniversary Meet next year so wanted the collection to fall in line with this date so will be somthing good to remember.

Edit to add car history and pictures.
Here's the story of how this car came to light.
Well about 2 and a half years ago (3rd April 2014) I was contacted by a gentleman (Andrew M) who was retired and wanted to sell the car. The car then had 12,200 miles on the clock and was totally standard. After a long chat about the car and telling me how much he loved it I advised him to keep the car, being a one owner car and the fact that these cars are hard to come by. He said he would give it some thought and get back to me if he decided he would sell.
On 2nd of August 2016, just before Ford Fair I received a call from Andrew. Andrew had decided the time was right to sell the car as he was now 71 years old and felt the car was ready to go to a new owner. He went on to tell me about the car. He said, the passenger side seat has only been sat in 6 times, the rear has only been sat in once the boot has never been used and it still had the new smell. He told me that he used to get up very early in the morning at 5-6am to take the car out for a drive when the roads were clear and how he enjoyed the drive.
Andrew asked if I knew of anyone that would be interested in buying the car and at that point I felt I would like the opportunity of buying it so told him. I made arrangements to look at the car the day after Ford Fair on 8th August so was feeling quite excited all week prior to Ford Fair and the thought of seeing the car straight after.
I travelled up with my wife to look at the car on the Monday. The car was located in Leeds so only approximately 70 miles away. As soon as we got there Andrew asked if I wanted to see the car or the paperwork first and bet you can guess which I said.
Andrew opened the garage door and the car was covered. The car was tight up to the driver's side he had to get into the passenger side and climb over so hats off to him at 71. He pulled the car out of his garage which was a very tight squeeze. The car came out and as soon as it did I had made my mind up I wanted it. Everything was spot on when checking over it. The car had 14,534 miles on the clock exactly.
After this Andrew went through all the paperwork with me and it is so comprehensive. It has the original bill of sale and the old type log books. The car has always been serviced at the Ford garage he purchased it from which was Benfield Ford in Guiseley. Every MOT has been carried out since new.
The following day I called Andrew and the sale was done so I arranged a deposit as soon as I could as he was starting to have doubts on selling it again he loved the car so much.
We collected the car on 3rd September. The day started off well but we knew we had rain coming so we were doing our best to miss it. Unfortunately, as soon as all the paperwork was done (had to tax the car online as it's the new system now and was very long winded) we came out to spots of rain on the car. I was not happy but what can you do? We headed back and you've guessed it the rain got heavier but just had to accept it. The car was washed, and dried and put away.
I plan on doing lots of cleaning of the inside and out. I would like the car detailed but cannot afford that the moment. After all of the idiot drivers when travelling back, cutting in front of me at any opportunity of a good gap I left in front of me to avoid chips, I will be looking to have the paint protection fitted as I did on my last car.
Here are some pictures from collection.
