  • Halfords socket set

    Hi all,

New here, still looking for a car. Anyway, if anyone is looking for a socket set, Halfords have one at half price just now at £125.00, it’s a great set and can do just about any job. I have one and it’s a lifetime warranty.

Here is the link below, the deal usually runs for a week or so.

My whole tool set is halfords I think. I was once told made by the same people, that make the tools for Snap On. How true that is, I dont know, but I've never had any issues.

There are a lot of good quality tools out there aside from Snap On.Especially socket sets.
I inherited from my dad a Britool socket set that i can remember using as a kid.I still have it now
When i was starting my time as a trainee mechanic at a main dealers back in the 70s,i purchased a Kamasa socket set.
Now that has been well and truly used and abused.
Normal sockets on windy guns and never an issue.
Still have and use it today.
I think Snap On, definately advanced for the better,Ratchets of all sizes and lengths.
And Snap On chrome spanners are so smooth and lovely to use.
