Front suspension subframe

Hi, I am trying to source a new front suspension subframe for my car. Ford don’t seem to stock them anymore. Would anyone know of any or somewhere I could source a good one?

I think there are aftermarket versions available for the mk1 focus, or you're into second hand otherwise.

Either way if you're going to use one from a normal mk1 focus you need to enlarge two bolts where the lower arms attach and also enlarge the bolt hole and re-weld the correct size nut onto the subframe for the lower gearbox mount.

Lee your car looking at the MOT record she has very low mileage, can the subframe not be stripped and powdercoated?

Hi Clayton, yes I think this is something I may consider. Just the time it takes to have it sent away and stripped
