What did you use, any black carpet or cloths dye, or is there a specific one thats good for these sorts of applications?
I think I heard of one you spray on directly but might well be dreaming that, it was many moons ago I was told tbf.

Just black cloth dye will do the trick . Not sure on the make of the exhaust manifold heat shield , got it off eBay a few years ago 😉
