Having issues with the locks on the Ffocus, new battery in the key , sometimes it will lock and unlock on the drivers door using it remotely, then sometimes I have to insert the key to lock it then it'll lock and unlock itself, but if I Insert the key in the passenger door and lock it, it all locks fine with no issues. Anyone got any ideas how to rectify this please? I have bought another lock mechanism for the driver side door incase that's the issue, any help or ideas would be appreciated thanks

Could you please advise? I need to replace the door lock, but the original one isn’t available. I don’t want to fit a second-hand one – what alternatives are there to a non-original lock that would work just as well as the original in terms of functionality?
