Thank you mate. Yeah i expect you had yours some time before i bought mine so possibly a little bit different, mines probably 3 years old now almost. Those Bespoke Engineering ones look tidy too. Don't think theres much difference in the cost between them though? Nice for owners to have options although i probably would have still chosen the DPC one mainly due to the fact we as a club have a good relationship with them and having bought various things there previously, i only have good things to say about the service.

I think mine was about 5 years old and if I hadn't been asked to test the bespoke engineering housing I wouldn't have changed from the dpc one as I liked it and it did the job so I haven't got a bad word to say about their housings. I think the prices are roughly the same.

The additional fitment at the top of the housing was a no cost option incase you needed a location for an aftermarket coolant temp sensor. At least that was the case for the one i ordered on the GB via DPC a couple of years back.
In the end i didn't use it, as i'd already had the sensor tapped into the sandwich plate that goes between the head / stat housing. Worth noting that if you do have the additional sensor mount option, keep an eye on it, as i found mine to be weeping slightly under high temps. It just needed a bit of additional thread seal / PTFE tape added to the blanking screw to ensure a tight seal.
