Bad rattle from front

Hi all decided to take the FRS out for a spin tonight after not using it for over a month but didnt make it to the end of the road....
There is a metallic rattle from sounds like behind the glove box/ bulkhead
I hit a pothole hard about 2 month ago but has been fine...noise just started today after been parked up...
Convinced it was a broken spring so jacked it up and everything appears ok...
Maybe intercooler mounts??? But sounds terrible
Anyone else had experience of these bushes going or anything else in this area??

Any ideas would be great

Hi mate!
I think I had the same problem. There is a metal holder between the front wing and the washer bottle. After all the years the glue dissolves and the holder gets loose.
You need to remove the wheel arch liner and the washer bottle and fix the part.

That very helpful...going to take headlamp out tomorrow just to have a quick look. Makes sort of sense if the sun has melted glue last few months. Sounds like shocker / top mount but that metal plate in same area!! Thanks again buddy

Thanks for posting my Video Clayton, obviously ive taken bolt out of filler neck to test but can't believe how noisy the bottle is inside the wing!!!

Glad I could help you mate! Took me a long time to find the cause. Changed the intercooler mounts two times. changed the scuttle panel, installed a spacer between the intercooler and fuse box.
I was totally annoyed. But finally found it.

Quick update...removed washer bottle this morning and re attached the top metal bracket and its like brand new!!! Thanks again WRC Mechanic
